I am a post-doctoral researcher in the HEnDy lab and a recent PhD graduate (August 2015) of the Stanford University Department of Anthropology. I conduct ethnoarchaeological field work on the island of Seram in eastern Indonesia, archaeological field work at the Pre-Pottery Neolithic site of Hemmeh in Jordan, and am initiating a new inter-disciplinary project in the Western Desert of Australia in collaboration with the other members of the HEnDy lab. In addition to my ethnographic and archaeological field work, I conduct theoretical work in life history theory, behavioral economics, and statistics. Much of my theoretical work is done in collaboration with James Holland Jones.
